Why do we automatically think negative thoughts?
As human beings we are programmed to look for threats in our environment. This has kept us safe over the years from sabre-toothed tigers and other foe. It has also kept us on high alert, stressed, ready to fight back against our modern day sabre-toothed tigers. This conditioning has kept us feeling bad, out of habit. In order to start feeling good, on a more regular basis, we need to do the opposite.
That’s where the universal law of polarity comes in. Everything has an opposite. Up-down, in-out, left-right, good-bad. When we continually direct our minds to look for the good in people and situations we train our brains and form a new habit. We start to see more good things happen for us.
We can start living on a higher vibrational level, according to the universal law of vibration. When you think good thoughts you feel better. We start to draw toward ourselves better things, better situations. We feel better, and our lives start to take a turn for the better.
You may have told yourself many times over the years that you can’t do something, are not good enough, or are not worthy of something or someone. Telling yourself a negative thought repeatedly has caused you to feel bad. Why not try the opposite? Follow the law of polarity and tell yourself that you are a good person, deserving of whatever your heart desires. Stop beating yourself up for every little mistake. Forgive your mistakes. Be kind to yourself and others. Instead of judging people and situations as good or bad, look for the good, the silver lining in the darkest cloud.
If you don’t like some of the results in your life, just know that nothing changes until you start loving yourself unconditionally. We were all made perfectly. Start living from the inside out instead of letting the outside world control you. As Gandhi said, “Be the change you want to see in the world”.
Look for the good in all people and in all situations. Remember, good thoughts = good vibrations.
